A simple guide
How to view your medical records
We share your records through Semble, our secure medical records system. Follow these five steps to open any document we send you.
Semble is the secure computer system we use to store your medical notes. When we share a document with you, the email comes from Semble on our behalf — it is genuine and safe to open. If you are ever unsure, call your usual clinic and we will confirm we sent it.
-
Look for an email
When we share a letter, report or test result, you will receive an email from Semble on our behalf. If you were expecting one and it has not arrived, check your spam or junk folder.
-
Open your document
Open the email and click the button.
-
Confirm it is you
Enter your date of birth. If we hold your mobile number, you may instead receive a text message on your mobile containing a 6-digit code. Type those six numbers into the box shown on the screen.
-
Choose what to read
You are now in your patient portal — a secure page on the Semble website that lists your documents. Every document we have ever shared with you is listed, with the newest at the top. Click any document to read it.
-
Save or print
Use the print icon — it looks like a small picture of a printer, in the top right corner of the document you are reading — to save or print a document.
